Cast iron radiators were the foremost radiators that were invented. However stainless steel radiators are available in the market now that gives a retro look of cast iron radiators. Stainless steel is a high quality element with numerous properties. The main and unique quality that differentiates steel and iron is “oxidation”. Stainless steel doesn't rust. However it also depends on the grade of quality of steel used. Obviously poor quality will not display the true features of steel. There are some 150 grades amongst which very few are suitable to make radiators. It is also a good conductor of heat and holds heat for a longer period as compared to aluminium radiators. Stainless steel appears attractive as well as it is easy to maintain its cleanliness. You can just wipe it with warm water with detergent dissolved in it.
Compared to the cast iron version of radiators with the modern stainless steel radiators, the cast iron radiators take long time to heat up and stay warm for a long time in turn keeping your room warm for longer time. The main purpose of a radiator is to heat your rooms. Heating of a radiator depends on the Wattage. Higher the Wattage, warmer the room will get.

There is something very interesting about cast iron heaters that is you can maximize the heat generated from them by following few simple ways:
Over a period of time air occupies space in the radiators and thus there is left very less space for hot water in it. At least once a year bleed out air from the radiators. You can ask a heating professional to do this if you don’t possess a bleed key or the valves are kept shut.
The second thing is you can make an attempt to reflect the heat. Make a sliding heat reflector behind the radiator. You can make a heat reflector by yourself. Cut an insulation board in a piece that is few inches wide and taller than the radiator. Then cover that insulating piece with heavy duty foil of aluminium placing its shining surface out. Slide this reflector behind the radiator. This mechanism is such that it will reflect heat in the center of the room.
Make a point you keep your radiators clean. Make an effort to get them clean every two months. There are slim bottle brushes available to clean the radiators. This brush slips easily between the parts of the radiator and loosens the dirt stuck in the radiator. Then attach a crevice device over a vacuum cleaner so that the vacuum pulls the entire dust. Then give a final touch by using any dampened cloth.
Never leave any pipe of the radiator exposed. Make sure you wrap them with any insulating material or else they will lead heat to unwanted areas of the radiator. People who intend to have a Victorian ambiance of their house cast iron radiators are very popular amongst them.
Hi i'm sure that Cast Iron Heaters offers soothing warmth and the safety works because feeling warm or cold does not actually depend on the temperature of the surrounding air.
